 I used ACDSee for years with my PC. It not only lent itself to simple photo editing...cropping, color correction, rotation, batch renaming, etc., but to managing my particular photo filing system. (I am a surgeon and file photos under specific categories with a system which has stood the test of time for me and others.) I recently changed from a PC to a MAC and could no longer use my filing system. I Photo is incompatible.ACDSee for Mac 1.6 has solved the filing problem by allowing the use of mine but does not allow for even simple photo editing ...

This Mac version lacks the facility to add text to photos which has been available in ACDSee photo editing for PCs for years. The absence of this feature substantially reduces my interest in having the program on Mac. I use PCs and Macs. ACDSee for Mac has not, for my use, done anything to substantially improve on iPhoto. Browsing my several thousand photos on Mac with ACDSee is not at all as efficient as is ACDSee on PC. Having used ACDSEE 6,8, 10 & 12 on a PC I am extremely happy to have an opportunity to use it on a Mac. As a \'Browser\' it is preferable to others that recreate your images. I have only had a quick look at the Mac version but it gives me that \'going home\' feeling.It would appear to be missing some of the \'repair tool\' and add text functions however. What happens when the trial period ends do we just download another trial version because we do not seem to be able to purchase it yet ???
I was hoping that there was a newer version of ACDSee for the Mac.All I could find was this old version 1.6.

 Wimpy Player at Jordan`s Promise I got Wimpy Player configured and uploaded to my site at www.jordanspromise.com yesterday. It is working great! I really love all the choices for skins. They look very nice. I created a "launch player" button on my main page to open the player in a separate window, and then on the sample audio page, I used the full player as well as giving the option for opening the player in a separate window.  iWoW is Great This is a great bit of software and great value for the money. My iPod has never sounded better!
Comments from Chile I am testing it. Still now, I enjoyed it and it's possible I will buy it at the end of the poccess. Honestly I think it is rather expensive.
 Un-installed the program before i even used it Hi dear developer of the program for iWOW,
I had intended to install the program after downloading it, however, upon reading the other people's comments on how it hangs iTunes and the various issues with licensing, I've un-installed it even before I had a chance to use it.

iWOW is, like...WOW! Did my iTunes really sound that bad before? It's hard to imagine now. It's hard to imagine that iTunes doesn't include something as great and easy to use as iWow, but they don't so here it is. And for only 20 clams. Nice! (I'm still up in the air on that big eye staring at me, though. For now I set it and hide it behind iTunes...also would be nice to have standard graphic equalizer sliders.)
